How do I reset my password?

On the login screen, tap Forgot password. We’ll email you a reset link to the address on file. If you don’t see the email, check your spam folder. If you registered with a school code (PIN login), ask your teacher to reset your PIN from the class roster.

How do I delete my child’s account?

You have three options:

  1. In the app: sign in → Profile → Settings → Delete account. Type DELETE to confirm, then re-enter your password. Deletion is immediate and removes all personal data, learning progress, badges, and class memberships.
  2. By email: if you cannot access the app, email hello@volvedu.com from the registered email address with subject “Delete Account”. We process the request within 7 days.
  3. School accounts: ask your school administrator. Schools can delete student accounts in bulk from the teacher dashboard. Volvedu will also delete on direct request from a parent of a child under 13.
How does parental consent work for children under 13?

During sign-up we ask for the child’s age. If the child is under 13, we collect a parent or guardian’s email address and send a verification link. The child cannot start using lessons until a parent clicks the link to grant consent. Parents can revoke consent at any time, which immediately deletes the child’s account.

What data does Volvedu collect about my child?

The minimum needed to provide the learning service: display name, age, country, course progress, quiz answers, badges earned, and XP. We do not collect location, contacts, photos, or microphone data. We do not show ads. See the full Privacy Policy for details.

Is my child’s data shared with third parties?

No. We never sell or share personal data for advertising or marketing. We use a small set of processors (Supabase for database hosting, Sentry for crash reports) under data-processing agreements. Content-generation services (Google Gemini, OpenAI) only receive lesson scripts written by our content team — never any data identifying a child.

I’m a school. How do I roll Volvedu out to my class?

Email hello@volvedu.com with your school name and approximate student count. We’ll set up your organisation, generate class codes, and walk you through the teacher dashboard. No teacher training is required — students self-guide.

The app is showing the wrong language. How do I switch between English and Arabic?

Open Profile → Settings → Language and choose English or العربية. The change takes effect immediately and applies to lesson text, narration audio, and the user interface.

I think I found a bug. How do I report it?

Email hello@volvedu.com with the subject “Bug Report”. Tell us what device you’re using (iPhone, iPad, Android phone / tablet, web), the app version (visible in Settings → About), and what happened. A screenshot or screen recording is very helpful.

Does Volvedu work offline?

Volvedu requires an internet connection to download lessons and save progress. Once a lesson is loaded, you can finish it even if the connection drops temporarily, but progress only saves once you’re back online. Full offline mode is on our roadmap.

What devices does Volvedu support?

iPhone, iPad, Android phones and tablets (Android 10+), and any modern web browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox). The web version can be installed as an app on Chrome and Edge via the “Install” button in the address bar.
